I have done a couple modifications to the site, and a couple comments I want to make.

Also, I have been running SETI@Home for a couple weeks, and I figured I would start a group. If any of you run SETI@Home I welcome you to join our group here. In the next couple days I'll be adding a block on the site with our SETI stats.

One final comment. Beginning Jan. 6, 2003, I will start a paid job (finally!) so I won't be able to provide as many updates as usual, but I promise this "Special Announcement" I mentioned a month or so ago will be made public in the coming week. If I post the good news, expect to see additional changes which prompted the theme change in the first place. Hopefully, I'll be posting the good news soon.

I have created the new incarnation of the Xtreme Theme, and named it "2 The Xtreme". I have improved the appearance of it and added some more functionality to it. It is currently running on this site. I have also slightly modifed the subSilver template for the phpbb2 port, and created a matching style for phpbb.

The new theme seems to be running just fine after I decided to make it the default theme for any visitors on this site. I'll prolly put it up for download over the weekend, and it'll be named "2_The_Xtreme" to reflect the name of our site. Currently, I'm in the process of cleaning up the code and adding some stability to some of the functions.

Be sure to keep an eye out for this new theme. The graphics that are in the header will be the same as the ones distributed with the theme. Once I get my header graphics completed they will be put only on this site.

I'm proud to announce that I have created a new theme for PHP-Nuke. It is currently running on this site in beta stages, and only registered users are able to preview the theme in full view. The theme looks very much like this. The graphics are not entirely complete, but the code is and it is undergonig testing. For any registered users, feel free to check out the new theme in Your Account and report any bugs with it. The theme's name is 2_The_Xtreme.

For any interested nukers out there, the theme has the following features:

• Admin link in header if logged in as an admin
• Your Account/ Register links as appropriate in header
• Frame buster (Avoid having your site in another site's frames)
• Banners ready (placement is above header)
• New graphics
• Option to replace the middot with an image (uncomment and edit the line in the "themesidebox" function)
• Admin controls in "themearticle" function (edit & delete)
• Small changes to the CSS

Currently, the theme is not available for download at this time. However, when this theme is distributed, there will be 2 downloads for it. One download will contain only the PHP-Nuke theme, and the other will have the PHP-Nuke theme, adn the modified subSilver template for the PHPBB2 PHP-Nuke port.

I have installed a new forum for our site, and it includes several new features. You can see the new forum here. On December 15, 2002, I will remove the old forum off the system. The "Forums" option on the top nav bar will point to the old forum until the cutoff date. Currently the forum graphics dont entirely match the site, but they are a lot better than the stock images.

Some new features include:

• Improved profiles
